The actress, 30, took to Instagram to post a slew of snaps with a toy-sized version of her beau as The Eleventh Doctor, as she enjoyed a relaxing break after completing her West End stint in All About Eve.

Lily seemed to have a whale of time with the plastic stand-in – believed to cost around £1.50 – after Matt, 36, was unable to join her on the trip.

Lily recently wrapped a triumphant stint in the West End as the star of All About Eve opposite Gillian Anderson, and given her choice of companion it seems the star is missing her boyfriend during her travels.

The Cinderella star recently admitted that despite their five year romance, she and Matt have no plans to tie the knot, as her feelings for The Crown star are constantly changing.

Lily told The Times: ‘I’ve gone through different phases of wanting and not wanting to get married. I don’t know where I sit with it now. What matters is the relationship and how you feel about each other.’

Though the Baby Driver star didn’t want to discuss any plans to have children, she admitted she believes the ‘most important thing’ in life is to share it with a family.

‘I come from the most incredible family, so that means a lot to me. Eventually, sharing your life with a family is the most important thing,’ Lily added.

Lily and Matt currently rent a house in Primrose Hill and though they are keen to ‘settle’ in the city, the former Downton Abbey star also revealed she wants to relocate to the countryside eventually.

The British actress said: ‘I do like looking at houses. London is so full-on, eventually I’d like to have a little place in the country. But that’s a few years away. I want to settle here first.’

Matt and Lily first started dating in 2014 after meeting on the set of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, after the Doctor Who actor split from model Daisy Lowe in 2013.

Lily also dated Fresh Meat star Jack Fox from 2011 to 2012.
