In France, the city of Paris is a romantic destination full of love and light for travelers. However, the country’s beauty includes more than just cafes, croissants, and the Eiffel Tower. All you need is a short trip to the south of France to discover a dream retreat full of sun, luxury and adventure.

Valensole, Saint-Etienne, Marseille, Saint-Tropez and Monaco are just a few of the colorful areas visitors can explore to meet celebrities, royals and jet setters. From refreshments in the hidden bays of Calanques to sipping through the rosé wines in Cassis, there are many adventures to be experienced in the South of France.

Welcome to the south of France

With almost 300 days of sunshine a year, southern France is a popular destination for travelers looking for relaxation and a taste of the good life. The best time to travel is between June and September, with most visitors coming in July and August. As in the rest of France, you’ll spend euros on your trip, so budget accordingly.

Life in bloom

One of the most popular attractions in southern France is the beautiful lavender fields that bloom in Provence every year. The city of Valensole hosts the most famous lavender festival every year on the third Sunday in July. So book early if you are thinking of attending.
